The following is presented for public information as to the types of long term goals water managers have in mind for the State of North Dakota. The inclusion of these goals here is for the purpose of informing interested persons as to what the planners have in mind regarding water issues such as water quality, control of rivers and water supplies, and programs that include federal regulatory oversight such as wetlands, Clean Water Act, 404 Permits, Wild and Scenic and Recreational river designations, Swampbuster, NEPA, Endangered Species Act, etc.
